Kolkatas Popular Restaurant – Chowman now serves authentic Chinese cuisine in Delhi-NCR

After Indian cuisine, if there is one cuisine that we have adopted as our own, it is Chinese cuisine. After capturing the hearts of Kolkata and Bengaluru, the famous Chinese restaurant chain Chowman has now set foot in Delhi with its first two outlets east of Kailash and Noida. Chowman is renowned for bringing the authentic Asian flavors of China to our country. Embraced with a comfortable configuration imitating fine art and decors imported from China, Chowman offers the perfect philosophy of ancient rustic China. Dining at the outlets also features the signature Chowman décor with red and black colors surrounded by soft lighting as well as the bronze Buddha statue, pots and bells are thoughtfully put together for a soothing ambience.

With more than 600 dishes, handpicked and reinvented from the land of the Orients, there is something for everyone on the menu. Chowman offers a sumptuous range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies to satisfy all taste buds.

I happened to visit the Chowman outlet in East Of Kailash for a good Chinese dinner. I started my meal with Tom Yum Chicken Soup and it was heavenly. With the perfect blend of refreshing flavors, this was the perfect dish to whet my appetite. To start, I have CHilli Chicken and Smoked Fish BBQ – both tasted good but Garlic Pepper Prawns were simply superb. The prawns were perfectly cooked and the tangy garlic flavor complemented them nicely.

Then I Fish in Spicy Sauce and Chicken in Black Bean Sauce paired with CHowman’s Special Noodles and Fried Rice. While the noodles and fried rice tasted good, I found the fish and chicken to be a little too heavy. However, the flavors were on point.

I recommend choosing Darsaan with ice cream for dessert. Crispy fried sweet noodles with ice cream are a drool-worthy delight.

Overall I had a good experience at Chowman. Those who like their Chinese food to be fulfilling will love this restaurant.
