Kim Kardashian’s Cosmetic Dermatologist Reveals the Secret to Looking Beautiful
“I really, really care about looking good,” Kim Kardashian said in a recent interview with Allure magazine. And although the reality star denies plastic surgery rumors, she admits to undergoing non-invasive procedures.
To look her best without going under the knife, Kim turns to California-based cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Simon Ourian. A former sculptor, Dr. Ourian has the creative tools and vision to create walking works of art.
“When I look at someone’s face, I automatically have in mind what I can do to improve it and have been since I was a kid,” Dr Ourian told DailyMail.com.

Whether performing a non-surgical nose job or reshaping the jawline and cheeks, Dr. Ourian – whose clientele includes the Kardashian-Jenner family, models, actors, musicians and many of world royalty – can perform just about any beautifying procedure without a scalpel.
“Before becoming a doctor, I had a background in art and sculpture, so it was by chance that I entered the field of aesthetic medicine,” said the wanted doctor.
“I loved aesthetics and beautiful things and thought there had to be a better way to do that without surgery.”
Dr. Ourian explains that there are three facial features that seem universally considered beautiful: symmetry, proportion, and healthy skin.
While they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Dr. Ourian explains that there are three facial features that seem to be universally considered beautiful: symmetry, proportion and healthy skin.
“The more symmetrical the right and left sides of the face are, the better,” said the leading doctor who, thanks to his skills and his impressive 3.5 million Instagram followers, has himself become a celebrity.
In addition to symmetry, proportion matters.
“From the forehead to the chin, the face is divided into thirds (upper, middle and lower). Faces that are considered attractive tend to have thirds of equal size and are therefore more proportional,” he explained.
“All of these things relate to the fact that we believe that a person is healthy and young. It’s programmed in our head.

According to Dr. Ourian, Kim’s face is very symmetrical, with the left and right sides looking nearly identical.
“His face is also very proportional and all of his individual facial features are very proportional to each other.
“There’s nothing you look at that you think is too big or too small, and she’s learned how to maintain and care for it better than anyone.
“She has a very clear vision of what a person should look like. She takes care of her face.
Like an artist before beginning to sketch a portrait, Dr. Ourian begins his procedures by measuring the face.
“What I do by measuring and creating diagrams of the face is what sculptures have done for thousands of years,” says the expert.
The goal is to create a symmetry that, as a former artist, comes naturally to the Persian dermatologist.
“If someone has a smaller lower face, I try to enlarge it to match the upper face; if someone’s forehead is too wide, I try to widen the face to match the length of the face.
According to Dr. Ourian, non-surgical procedures become much more beneficial as they offer results similar to surgery but with a safer outcome.
“The huge advantage of cosmetic dermatology is that you can choose and create your own menu as you go,” he said.
Adding: “In surgery you wake up and hope everything will be fine; when you’re awake in a doctor’s office like mine, you work as a team with your doctor. You can say “I like my cheeks the way they are, I want to lift that.”

A few of the most requested procedures at her Beverly Hills practice, located at 444 N Camden Drive, are cheekbone fillers and lip augmentation, as well as face and body contouring.
Like the rest of the world, Dr. Ourian learned the buzzword “contouring” from Kim’s makeup artist, Mario.
‘We were traveling together and Mario kept saying the word contouring. I told him we did the same thing all the time and he had no idea. I’ve decided that’s what I’m going to call it: permanent remodeling.’
