BEIJING — The Silk Road Belt and Road Arts Center in Langfang, Hebei Province, has expressed a strong desire to introduce Pakistani cuisine, music and films to China to deepen cultural exchanges between the peoples of the two countries. During his visit, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque toured various sections of the center and reviewed its state-of-the-art facilities. General Manager Hu and Ms. Claudia Yang, the Director of International Arts briefed the Ambassador on the role of the arts center in popularizing the performing arts in China and different countries. They also expressed their keen desire to introduce Pakistani cuisine, music and films to China to deepen cultural exchanges between the peoples of the two countries. Appreciating the role of the Silk Road Belt and Road Arts Centre, Ambassador Moin ul Haque highlighted the affinity between the culture and artistic styles of Pakistan and China and their role in consolidating bilateral relations between the two countries.
He expressed the hope that the Center would continue its efforts to serve as a bridge between the various cultures and civilizations of the world and to foster a spirit of friendly feelings among them. The two sides also discussed plans to hold events this year to promote Pakistani culture and history in China.
